Laureato-Olimpico 8017 from the 1996 GP catalog. See the price list. Before tax 9,800 Deutschmarks. These were not cheap. This is 1996 … imagine that. And they sold out as this model was highly sought after. Good to know these things.

I was shown a Ref.5271/ 11p owned by a friend of mine. The actual blue sapphire was much deeper in color and attractive than the catalog photo.

The original 5270 is a leaf hand, but I prefer this shape type. Even the clasp is set with jewels, giving it a luxurious feel. We took a two-shot with 5539G (MR Tourbillon)
